Design Philosophy

We don’t follow any trends. Neither we believe in any signature style or copy ideas. We just ask questions- What do you admire about? What inspires you? Is it the colour, the texture, the finishes, and the fixtures? Or the lighting? the furniture? Maybe, just the abstract nothing!!

We respect your preferences and believe your home should be the reflection of your persona. We enjoy working with you, as a team, from conception to completion so that your dream infuses our ideas, skill, and expertise. For us, a good design is not just about beauty, not even the functionalities. The main purpose is how you feel when you step into that space- be it your home, or place of work! Serene Spaces- A defence veteran’s offbeat story. It’s obvious, when a soldier turns into a designer; there seem to be clear parallels. But, when his passion finds a profession- the magic of merging the two- there is no confusion….it is a journey truly lived and loved. And when you meet few companions having similar passion in whatever they do, the team evolves.

Principal in Design | Founder

Saisiva Prasad grew up in the tribal hills of Koraput- in the lap of nature with a vivid sense that, our living spaces got to be serene!

He has harboured a love for art and design for as long as he can remember! Photographs of his habitats right from his college days until now, conveys that he looks at spaces with love and gives a touch of his soul. His stints in the Indian Navy in various parts of the country, traversing the most coveted spaces and subsequent international travels gave him ample exposure in the field of creative interior design.

Equipped with knowledge gained from professional courses on design aspects and on-field experiences from various projects in the past seven years, he is in a position to understand and conceptualize customized designs that match your imagination.

To add on, the three military qualities- Discipline, Reliability, and Accountability make him even more distinguished and sought after.

He says- “Once a soldier, forever a soldier. No matter what comes, the mission gets accomplished”

And each time he ensures that the accomplishment is beyond the client’s expectation.

Subhashree Sahoo

Interior Designer

She has a degree in Interior Designing from Institute of Interior Design, IWP, New Delhi. With over 4 years of experience in this field she has designed for budget interior apartments to individual luxury villas. Her unrivalled design makes her a champion designer in the circle of our clients and patrons. A fine mandala artist who believes that the only way to do great work is to love what you do.

Saumya Ranjan Ray

Architect

Soon after completing his Architecture from CET, Bhubaneswar in 1999, Ar. Saumya went to Mumbai to try his fortune and worked in very reputed Architecture & Design farms for almost a decade. He is well equipped with technical nitty-gritty and all new fundamentals of the trade. A team leader, par excellence for his design and project management skills is an asset to Serene Spaces.
